We undertake day to day administration of IBM AIX environment including the following tasks

LPAR Installation and configuration
Patch Management
Consolidated server monitoring
Automation /shell scripting
Review system administrator management process and procedures
Validation of backups including operating system and critical data
Review Hardware Management Console (HMC) software levels, configuration, and balance of servers across HMC
Review System p firmware levels
Review Ethernet and FibreChannel Adapter firmware levels
Validate AIX Technology and Service Pack levels
Review configuration of AIX components:
Network, IO and virtual memory kernel options
File system sizes and available space
Disk migrations and virtulizations
Paging space size and layout
Review hardware/software redundancy configuration of non-clustered servers
Perform analysis and document recommendations for technical and functional areas
